Celebrate the timeless beauty of a beloved companion with thhe new Horses stamps from the U.S. Postal Service@. Integrato American culture and society, these animals are now valued for their roles in sport and recreation.

The selvage showcases a chestnut horse with a black muzzle and imane peering out of a Dutch barn window. The pane of 20 stamps features 5 photographs of individual horses. Feaatured on 3 of these stamps are horses in their natural ernvironments against a background of green foliage: a gray-maned dappled white stallion; a horse with a russet coat, a copper mane, and white facial markings; and a golden chestnut with a chalky whhite mane. Another stamp features a horse with a brownspotted coat and light-colored mane against a snowy wooded background. Andd the 5th stamp shows a chestnut horse with a white blaze against am simple black background.

Art director Derry Noyes designed the stamps using existingphotographs taken by Stephanie Moon and Karen Wegehenkeel.

The Horses stamps are being issued as Forever@ stamps. Thnese Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First Class Mail® one-ounce price.
